Coming to and leaving school

Student safety is the priority.

Help us to keep our school community safe by:

• using the crossing when walking.
• being a great role model for the children. This means never walking out in front of or between cars and buses, never calling your child across the road.
• talking to your child/children about the safest way for them to walk to school, or how to behave on the bus.

Dalmeny Kiss and Drop Zone

The school has a 'Kiss and Drop' Zone located on Dalmeny Drive, adjacent to Gate 2 (top gate). The zone operates from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Cars may stop during these times to drop off or pick up their child/children. Cars have a two minute time limit and drivers must stay within 3 metres of their car.

Public Transport

Buses

School buses supporting student travel to school in the:

• morning include Line 1035 (arriving at school at 08:50) and 1023  (arriving at school at 08:52)

• afternoon include Line 2068 (leaving school at 15:05 pm) and 2037 (leaving school at 15:06 pm)

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Parking on school grounds

Parking is available on:

• Dalmeny Drive

• Bomaderry Drive

• Manildra St

• Umbria St

• Romana Sq

• San Marino Drive

  The school car park is available to:

• staff only for parking during school hours.

• parents/carers may access the staff car park prior to 8:15 am to drop their child/children off at the Out of School Hours Service (OoSH) in the hall.

• parents/carers may access the staff car park after 3:30pm to pick their child/children up from the Out of School Hours Service (OoSH) in the hall.
