The Dalmeny Public School difference

A Safe, Supportive Learning Environment

Dalmeny Public School is built on a foundation of safety, respect, support and inclusion. Set within welcoming and spacious grounds in Prestons, we offer a learning environment where every student is known, valued and cared for.

Inclusive and Culturally Responsive Education

Our school fosters a culturally aware and inclusive community. We consciously include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and perspectives throughout our curriculum, reflecting our commitment to respect, reconciliation, and diversity.
With a diverse student body representing 81 countries and over 60 language groups, including strong Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Turkish and Serbian representation, our school celebrates cultural richness in every learning space.

Excellence in Learning Across Key Areas

We deliver a balanced and comprehensive curriculum focused on early learning, literacy, numeracy, technology, creative and performing arts, sport and environmental education.
Teachers use evidence-based practices, visible learning, and data-informed tracking to set individual reading goals and ensure clear learning intentions. This approach empowers students to engage deeply with their learning.
